Gmail New TAB Look : Get it Now

GMAIL got a new tab look with automated filter mails...mail will be automatic filter to respective tab..you can also move mails one tab to another..you can also change the tab settings...

To get it Now..
>> Go to Setting >> Configure Inbox

Google announced the new look on its Gmail blog and says that it will be rolling out the update "gradually" on the desktop. Updates for iOS and Android will be available in the next few weeks. Users that don't want the new look on the desktop can switch back to the classic view.

Clicking on one of the tabs will show all the messages from that view. Users can also customize the new tabs to always show certain senders in a particular tab or for starred messages to always appear in the primary tab.

The new default categories, based on Gmail's existing Label system, are Primary, Social, Promotions, Updates, and Forums. They appear as large tabs on the Gmail site, easy to use for touch screens and fully customizable. You can also drag-and-drop messages between them, and Google will automatically "learn" how you want them filtered.

Delete un-necessary emails without checking from your Gmail

It had usually been irritating to receive useless emails or spam emails in your account. Few days back I received almost 15 to 20 useless emails everyday amongst those which were useful. Then someone told me about a new feature “FILTER” that Gmail provides you to get rid of unwanted emails.
You cannot Block unwanted types of emails from marked addresses or domain but you can simply set a “FILTER” to move these emails or messages directly to trash and can delete without checking them.
To set a Filter follow the steps below:
• Login to your Gmail account.
• Click on Mail settings and then click on “FILTER” and select “Create a new Filter”.

• Now fill up the field with Filter’s details and then click on “Create Filter with this search”.

• Now select the action that you would like for these unwanted emails by Tick marking on the appropriate box.
• And then, finally click on “Create Filter”.

Now you had set a Filter to those emails that used to disturb you a lot. And no more unwanted emails are going to disturb you from now.

Schedule your Email with RightInbox Extension

Firefox/Chrome: Right Inbox is an extension for Chrome and Firefox that works with your Gmail account to schedule emails for sending later, much like Boomerang, but free and simpler.

Scheduling emails could be helpful for quite a few reasons. One example is that you might know the recipient gets to their desk at around 10am, so you could schedule your email to be delivered at some point around that time. Otherwise, your important message could become buried by all of the other emails that the person has gotten since you wrote it.

The add-on places a "Send Later" button in Gmail with options to schedule the email in 1, 2, or 4 hours or select a specific date and time and, optionally, time zone. It's very straightforward and intuitive—and useful. Use it to send yourself reminders or send emails to others at just the right time.

Overall the app is lightweight and definitely worth installing and you might start seeing faster responses from the people you’re emailing if you start thinking about the best time to fire that important message off. If you want this feature and a whole host of others, definitely check out Boomerang, which is a paid alternative.
