India won the Cricket World Cup 2011

India won the Cricket World Cup 2011 beating Srilanka by 6 wickets.India having tremendous journey in knockout games by beating Australlia(Quarterfinal),Pakistan(Semifinal),Srilanka(Final).

India won the World Cup before Australia, Pakistan and Sri Lanka did and their 1983 victory at Lord's destroyed the confidence of the West Indies to such and extent that the winners of the first two editions are still to recover from that stunner.
This is for Sachin : Yuvraj Singh
Very sorry to disappoint you, guys. It was not for my girlfriend or my fiancee, but for Sachin Tendulkar," he said at the packed post-final media conference with skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni sitting by his side.

"This (winning the 50-over format World Cup) is unbelievable. Under-19 World Cup, then Twenty20 World Cup but this is the most special," he said after India defeated Sri Lanka by six wickets in the World Cup summit showdown.

"(This is) for Sachin, for everyone else in the team. I want to dedicate this to my Guru Ram Singh and Guru Ajit Singh and my parents and friends," he said.

After guiding the team to a great victory over defending champions Australia in the quarterfinals, Yuvraj had said that he wanted to win the trophy for a "special person" and added the identity of the person would be revealed by him after the final.

Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar(Cup of Sachin)
"Dhoni is the best captain I have played under. He is very sharp and always alert. He reads the situation well and is open to sharing ideas," said Sachin.

Zaheer Khan(21 wickets in CWC 2011)
We are proud to emulate '83 heroes: Zaheer

The whole country has a share: Dhoni
It's not very often that you find a happy and beaming MS Dhoni at a press conference. But it was not just another press conference - he now arrived as the leader of the world champions. With a visibly proud and satisfied Yuvraj Singh by his side, the Indian skipper was anything but the self contained captain cool we know of.

After winning the 2011 World Cup, Indian skipper MS Dhoni is planning to add another feather to his cap by targeting the Twenty20 crown, with the tournament being played in Sri Lanka next year.

We are always cheering for team india.& great wishes to Team India future : Tech Impulsion Team.......
